This expedition is for me the most significant from an emotional point of view. In 2010, together with Matteo Bernasconi, we came up with the big goal of attempting the West face of Torre Egger, which was widely recognized as the last unclimbed big wall in Patagonia.
For me, the Egger was a school: on several occasions we have been deluded and in troubles, it pushed us to return 3 times over the years, but at the same time it gave us so much, teaching us important lessons both in the mountains and in everyday life, such as humbleness, determination and friendship.
